Herman Miller has left the building
The beautiful bespoke Orangebox chair has arrived. On top of wonderful design, these lovely dudes from Hengoed provide a first class service – delivered here as promised within a week or so of confirming specification. Word is a couple of their Italian directors have taken a bit of a shine to my  bandiera d’Italia design and are considering getting their own il tricolore chairs made up. Rock on boys.
Thank you Orangebox, not only for your generous Do Auction contribution (which raised £1,200 to help keep the talks free to a worldwide audience), but also for demonstrating that good old Wales can go toe to toe with anyone in designing and manufacturing premium quality industrial product, at competitive prices, and to the rigorous Cradle to Cradle accreditation standards.
So after many years of sterling service, I’m afraid Herman, the Aeron has been retired from active service at my desk, to be replaced by a beautiful Welsh/Italian design collaboration. Ladies and Gentlemen Herman Miller has left the building……..

Just a suggestion. Pictures don’t have to be huge.
