Why ‘stay small’ when demand says ‘get bigger’.
The Do Lectures works because it’s small.
It’s intimate.
It’s personal.
And for many who attend, a life changing moment in their lives.
We need to keep it that way.
So right now with the demand for tickets being greater than we have places for, what do we do?
Well, the first thing was to remember what makes The Do Lectures so special in the first place: Being small.
So when we talked about making the event bigger, we were in fact talking about making it less special. And that didn’t feel like a clever thing to do.
So the way we have resolved the increased demand is to do Two Do Lectures a year. One in the Spring. And one in the Autumn.
Both with 80 attendees. Both with 30 speakers. And both at the magical setting of fforest.
That way we still keep it small. And special.
